Poor Ed…He still tries to connect to Cara! But she’s not having any of it 😛

When Ed thinks about his past, there will always be a lingering sadness, though it was obvious Alana loved her son and wanted what was best for him, there was a side of her that felt like she was desperately trying to claw at some control, there were unfortunately certain times that made her feel almost ‘left out’ of Ewan’s upbringing.

Ed sometimes felt that perhaps it would have been best if he was taken out of the picture sooner, but at the same time, he’s very grateful to have been part of Ewan’s life. Seeing that child grow, helping him through the years, and being included in a family unit, that is something that Ed treasured. Not many droids got that, it was a lottery chance, and he was one of the lucky ones.
